Getting Others To Build Your Business For You

It’s natural for any successful IM marketer to want to go higher in business, so if that’s you it would be prudent to learn some things about outsourcing. Most, if not all, online marketers understand what it means to outsource, but the important thing about it is to understand that it’s a whole new process in your business. Once you’ve set-up an outsource deal, you would be free to utilize the knowledge and the resources of your outsourcing partner. It’s important to be very clear about what you expect with regard to due dates, etc. In other words, the production and the development work is taken care by your outsourcing partner, while the responsibility of the whole project lies with you. Outsourcing can really help to take your business to new heights, but there are optimal ways to do it.

If you’re about to hire a professional worker, you should always make sure you ask for sample work. You should probably not choose someone who cannot let you see at least two or three samples. It’s tough, but it is in your best interest to only consider those who can prove to you that they can do the work.

If at all possible, try to verify that the work is theirs, and if possible you can ask for references. There are odd situations when samples are not possible, but references are possible – so maybe have some flexibility. Just use your common sense, for example never offer any down payment if they cannot give you what you need so you can verify them. The bottom line is that it’s your decision, so choose wisely. Some marketers offer a new, untested person a small job that serves as a test so they can see the quality of work, first. You’ll want to do this before letting them handle something more involved.  To hire my team of writers I sent out a proposal to have everyone write about the same topic. In my case, it was a story about roll up awnings for home.   This is an effective way to gauge the quality of their work and other factors. Let’s say you need 30 articles written each month, so you can test 3-5 people and divide the 30 required and see how well everyone does. The goal is to evaluate over time how well people perform, so then merely slowly increase their responsibilities and work load until you’re satisfied they can do it. Once you identify those who can successfully meet your business needs, then you will have people you can turn to again.

Finding good people is a great thing because you can always bring them back onboard for future projects. Be sure to remember these people because chances are good that you’ll want to hire them again in the future. After all is in place, then the thing to do is identify other areas of your business that you can outsource. If you can free more time for yourself, you’ll have choices – either enjoy your time, or work on your business.

All marketers understand the value of quality outsourcing because it provides a lot of value. Clear, precise, and open lines of communication will save you many headaches later on. Keep in mind that it’s always the better of the two if you can hire people who have been recommended by others.
